Since its inception in 2008, Chilton College has offered scholarships to students who require
extra assistance or who experience extremely challenging circumstances that would not allow them to enter one of our training programmes. Connected closely with the world renowned NGO, Scalabrini Centre (www.scalabrini.org.za), 90% of scholarships go directly to screened and vetted clients from the following established programs : Social Services/ Welfare, Life Skills, Hospitality, Women’s Group’s forums and the Employment Help Desk Programme.
Chilton’s sense of social responsibly is vitally important to us. We believe that ‘a hand up rather than a hand out’ ethic is more rewarding and long-term enduring to the students the college assists. Confidentially & privacy is paramount in all our dealings with such students. We are honoured to be able to continuously work with such programmes and gain enormous pride at seeing students blossom & grow into full time employment after their training is completed.
Chilton offers an open door to all its students both during and after the job application process, whether they need job advice in relation to contractual & labour law issues, or are seeking a more senior role a few years on.
